    Privacy Policy

    Effective 10 July 2026

    1. What we collect

    • Account data — your email, name and profile photo from Google sign-in (or the email you register with), via Firebase Authentication.
    • Content — briefs you type, files you upload, brand kits, and the decks, edits and speaker notes Kinsy generates for you.
    • Usage & billing data — a per-account credit ledger (which actions consumed credits, visible to you under Usage & billing), plan and subscription state, and operational logs (timestamps, IP address, error reports).
    • Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we keep only your Stripe customer reference and subscription status.

We use only essential browser storage (sign-in session and UI preferences). No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics cookies.

    2. How we use it

To provide the Service: generating and storing your decks, running optional web research, metering credits, processing payments, preventing abuse, and responding when you contact support. We do not sell your data or use your content to train AI models.

    3. Who processes your data (subprocessors)

    • Google Cloud / Firebase — hosting, authentication, database and file storage (US regions).
    • Anthropic and OpenAI — the AI models that plan decks, edit slides and generate images. Your briefs and relevant content are sent to them to produce your decks; under our API agreements they do not train models on this data.
    • Perplexity — optional live web research (only when you enable it for a build; receives the brief text, not your uploads).
    • Stripe — payments and billing.
    • Telegram — messages you send via our contact form are relayed to our private support channel.

    4. Sharing & visibility

Your decks are private by default. If you switch a deck to public, anyone with its link can view a slides-only page (no speaker notes, no edit access) until you switch it back. We disclose data to third parties only via the subprocessors above, or where the law requires.

    5. Retention & deletion

We keep your account data and decks while your account is active. Email support@kinsy.ai to delete your account — we remove your decks, uploads and personal data within 30 days, except minimal records we must keep for accounting or legal compliance (e.g. invoices). Operational logs rotate automatically.

    6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest on Google Cloud. Deck access is enforced server-side per account; database rules deny all direct client writes. Payment credentials never touch our servers.

    7. Your rights

You can access your usage history in-product, export your decks at any time (PPTX/PDF/PNG), and request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@kinsy.ai. If you are in the EEA/UK, these include your GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection), and we honour equivalent rights under other applicable data-protection laws. We respond within 30 days.

    8. International transfers & children

Data is processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards with our subprocessors. Kinsy is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

    9. Changes & contact

We'll announce material changes to this policy in-product or by email. Data controller: Bedlam Pte. Ltd. Contact: support@kinsy.ai or the contact form.
