Google Slides

Any finished deck can land in Google Slides as a file in your own Google Drive. In the web app, the export menu does this for you. For the API, the command line and connected assistants, connect Google Drive once and they can ask for the Google Slides link themselves.

Connect Google Drive once

  1. Open Settings on kinsy.ai while signed in.
  2. Under Google Drive, choose Connect Google Drive and approve in the Google window. Keep the Google Drive box ticked.

Kinsy asks only for access to the files it creates in your Drive. It cannot see, change or delete anything else there. Only you can connect or disconnect Drive, from a signed-in browser; an API key or a connected assistant can use the connection but cannot change it.

To stop, choose Disconnect in Settings, or remove Kinsy at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Decks already in your Drive stay there.

Ask for a deck in Google Slides

curl -X POST https://kinsy.ai/v1/decks/deck-75a79a/deliver \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $KINSY_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"to": "google_slides"}'
{
  "to": "google_slides",
  "url": "https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1AbC.../edit",
  "file_id": "1AbC...",
  "title": "Q3 board update"
}

Each call creates a new file named after the deck. It is free and counts towards the hourly limit of 40 edits. Google converts the slides as it imports them: charts and videos can arrive as pictures, so the .pptx stays the most faithful copy.

From an assistant connected to the MCP server, ask for the deck "in Google Slides": the assistant calls the send_to_google_slides tool. From the command line (version 0.2.0 or later): kinsy get deck-75a79a --slides.
